Owczarnia is a small village in Poland. Museum in Owczarnia is an old Polish house where there are much furniture, images, materials, dishes and a lot of other things which Mazurians (people who used to live here before II World War) used them for working at home every day. There are things from XIX century here.
This is a veeeeeeery old fridge.
In winter people put blocks of ice in to the outside cellar. It was a very deep hole in the ground so ice didn’t thaw. In summer they put block of ice to this fridge so they could freeze food without having electricity.
This is a veeeeeeeeery old juice maker.
If you want to have juice, you have to put fruit like apples or pears into this machine. It is not difficult but you must have a lot of power in your hands.
It is a woman’s wedding dress and a party dress. A black dress was a symbol of modesty.
It is a bed for woman. There are white flowers on a pillowcase.
It is a bad for man. There are geometric shapes on a pillowcase.
