Through blogging students have the opportunity to connect with others while learning appropriate online behaviour in an authentic, supervised learning environment.

While this is a safe and secure educational blogging platform, I have set the following guidelines –

– students will use only their first name when posting;

– students’ surname, address and other personal information will not be published on the blog;

– students will be encouraged to write posts and comment on other posts using only their first name;

– student photos will only be published if permission has been granted by their parents/guardian;

– parents who leave comments are encouraged to use only their first name – eg Margaret – Jane’s mum

– all comments must be respectful, polite and courteous;

– all comments are checked by the teacher before being published on this blog.
