I think the biggest thing that I have achieved was when I got a Coach’s Award in football for always trying to complete my tasks. I won that award in 2014 and when I won the Coaches Award In 2015 also it was with a different coach, I think this time it was for always continuing to carry on even if I’m hurt or if I’m tired.
When our team played everyone would always cheer the whole team on, so when that happens you get a good feeling so when I got the coaches award I felt so good because everyone was cheering and my mum and dad were crying in joy and I was really overwhelmed and happy.

One day Luwana and I entered a dance competition (a duo). We had trained for hours a day, we had a very casual song ‘best day of my life’ it is the best song to choreograph to, well that’s what I thought.

It was the day of the competition we were so nervous because we had to go up against Grace and Aria, Katie and Hannah and another group Esprey and ruby. Everyone was so pretty but really didn’t match, we were the only ones that looked exactly the same, we wore a pink and purple tutu, black shirt with a horse printed on the front in pink, also black leggings and our hair was tightly done up in a bun with a cute pink and purple thing that you would usually place on a present that was in our hair. Our whole outfit looked amazing, I loved it. We thought we had no chance against Katie or Hannah because they are amazing dancers and Hannah is the daughter of the dance teacher.

It was time for the duos presentations Katie and Hannah came in 3^rd Grace and Aria came 2^nd Esprey and ruby were 4^th and finally we came ahead of the rest 1^st OMG we came 1^st we got GOLD EVERY ONE, WE GOT GOLD! We don’t get that very often, well because we don’t normally enter any comps. It was the best feeling to know that we could do it. Getting a gold is excellent literally but it is important to remember others feelings and not to gloat, I think I forgot that when we had gotten the GOLD medal. Knowing that we can do well, good choreography and dance skills is only one part of it; it was also the smiling (facial expressions) and enthusiasm that got us a higher score.

At the end Miss Leo was giving out the class awards e.g. jazz, tap, tiny tots and more classes included. I was in jazz (modern) and we were all discussing who we thought would get it and of course no one thought of me well that’s what I thought, so while everyone else was whispering I was looking straight at Mel and waiting, waiting for her to say my or someone else’s name I crossed my fingers and kept on staring straight at Mel. And guess what she said “Carlee” OMG” I couldn’t believe it, well I could I was a really good student for Mel and always on time and tried my hardest to stand out. I love that trophy and I still have it along with the gold medal. My heart was pounding for quite a while, after I sat back down my heart calmed and I think my heart had stopped while I was up there because I could not feel my arms or legs. I went home jumping up and down the excitement never did go away.

When I was 11 years old I was at the horse ranch.  I am a horse lover so I go out a lot.  I was riding my two favourite horses. I would ride one of them, get off and ride the other one, one of the horses was mine his name was Leroy. I used to nickname him leicha beach boy that was his old race name the other horse was the horse ranch’s and his name was beckham. They were wonderful horses I got on Leroy and i was riding around the paddock he is so fun to ride. I then said to my sister “why don’t I try and jump him” so we decided teach him how to jump.

We started off small and got bigger every time he wouldn’t jump at first but after a while he finally started jumping, before that he would only walk over and get annoying so we stayed in the paddock for the whole day then he became awesome at it.

A couple hours later Leroy was jumping me and Shari were amazed about what we had done in just a couple of hours when I was on him while jumping it felt like he could just glide in the air I was so proud of Shari and i. Later that night I was at home writing a full page of how we got Leroy to jump my mum was so proud of how we taught him to jump that she wanted us to teach another horse while she was out there so she could see how we did it.

So we asked if we could borrow beckham my mum said that we were lying about teaching Leroy how to jump. So Shari and I were riding at the same time. she was riding Leroy while I was riding beckham. We taught beckham how to jump and mum thought it was a miracle it was really fun teaching them how to do new things I’m so proud of Shari and I.

I got a kayak for Christmas and an ore of cores and then later we tested our kayaks and then we went back home and watched Jurassic world and then we had a feast and played water fight.
