During Term 1 our main focus in Year 9 will be revision of language conventions in preparation for the NAPLAN tests early next term. We will also focus on reading and writing.

During Term 1 I will be focusing on getting to know the Year 8 students and vice versa. Some of the ways we will do this will be by using the theme of ‘belonging’ through a variety of texts including picture books, and journal writing through our blog. We will also be looking at biographies and autobiographies.
